never used fl but there should be a vst folder, stick it in there. Then if it doesn't pop up automatically, browse the settings related to vst's to import it

step 1 : make a new folder on your harddrive, call it "VSTplugins" or something
step2: install your plugins to this folder sometimes there will be a standalone instalation required, install stand alone versions to the default path
step 3: go to flstudio, on top hit the options menu, then choose file settings
step4: point " vst plugins extra search folder " to the VSTplugins on your harddrive
step 5: rightclick on a channel in fl, then choose "insert">"more">"refresh"
you should have your plugins loaded now

afriiqaa wrote:probably a really stupid question, but im lost. Anyone know or can explain to me how to install an external vst into fruity? ive got albino and a few others which i dont know how to install.
do you install it in a certain folder or what?
im totally lost
The manual that came with your copy of FL should be able to confirm the details of where to install.
Alternatively, check the manual for Albino and the other VSTs - they should also run through the basics of installing for your host DAW
