Was just about to post this!

RIP indeed...

I've seen the Cramps at least 10 times in my life and they never failed to impress. So influential by taking Rockabilly and adding horror to it long before The Misfits did it,as well as being the model for all the 'Billy subgenres that came after(Gothabilly,Psychobilly,Revival,Hellbilly Punk)And also, they are one of the main reasons Rockabilly never died here in SoCal.

Was supposed to be going to see a cramps-alike band yesterday but the gig got cancelled. They normally do a fair few covers.

RIP.

Bloke is an absolute legendary performer, one of the best and last. Very few front men have the stage presence he had and their albums were fucking brilliant, Off the Bone is just tune after tune.

The DVD of the gig in the Mental Institution is an absolute classic.
