open up any synthesizer with atleast 2 oscillators

set oscs to saw waves, adjust fine tune until it growls, do this with multiple instances of the synthesizer, in a layer, then distort, add flangers, phasers, whatever you want, bounce it down to audio, then make 3 instances of it

make a high channel, a mid channel and a low channel, and EQ so that they dont share frequencies, then do further processing, and add reverb and delay to the high channel too if you want

layer a sub underneath, and use low pass and/or high pass filter automation

definitely not, from a technical aspect, they are really good producers

they just make cheesy, predictable music, and furthered the commercialism of DNB

at the end of the day, the demand for their music is certainly there, thats why they are as big as they are

someone said to me a little while ago, prodigy were tossers for not staying underground, the demand for their music was too great for that. why not grab it with both hands if people have sat up and taken notice

Caspa and Rusko get a lot of bitter stick for just being good at making a different crowd dance. I might not like that crowd but real sellouts intend to sell out. I get the feeling that when caspa wrote "where's my money", he was just trying to find the rowdiest sound he could get out of a synth, which is what most producers do anyway, the difference being that he succeeded.
