Check my myspazz, loaded up a flash player - might not be quite dubstep but ah who gives a shite. Bit of a rough mix pieced together from a separate mp3 recording and won't get the chance to finish it until the vocalist comes back from Gran Canaria in about a year but give us some feedback. Actually got it to this stage a few months back, but haven't foisted anything in a while so thought I might as well keep my prescence felt here.

Also put a soundtrack to a mate's animation The Idiot up. It's a few years old but see what you reckon. I'll see if I can get him to upload the vid at some point if anyone wants to see it (it's quite squalid as you can imagine if you hear it).

My myspace player seems to have disappeared, so this will have to do in the meantime.

Cheers y'all :D

Yeah, the animation itself is somewhere between wierd porn and psychosis so the music fits quite well. I'll have to see if I can get the vid up on youtube

Got it on....

Nice upbeat drums...good well executed intro. Wasn't prepared for that drop but like it! The vocal is good, beats could maybe be stronger but it is a good pattern and i like the double bass sounds...quite reprazent. Nice and intricate...nice to hear some steel drums every now and then too! That singer sounds like thom yorke around 3.10.

Song ticks along nicely definatly and has good production quality.

Nice when the steel drums go on the 2nd main drop, gives good variation and impact when they come back in.

You have a good sound shonky!

That's actually Andrew Montgomery who used to sing with the band Geneva if anyone's interested or knows of them. Quite funny as he's got quite a broad Glaswegian accent when he speaks, but sings in this amazing falsetto. The steel drums are cowbells off the Batucada - Sound of the Favelas compilation that's well worth getting if you're into batteria style riddim tracks (some of the tracks contain up to 70 percussionists).

It was quite interesting as I originally did this as an instrumental track and this vocal was recorded over the backing track into an mp3 recorder at Andrew's house and then pieced together over the instrumental, so it came out pretty well considering. As I said earlier, he's off for a year, but I think this tune has some potential so I'm going to re-record this tune and work on some other music with him on his return.

Nah, he's sporting some fin bizniz now. Hardly networking, he ended up working on the same floor as me at work and we just got chatting and went on from there. Funny how things turn out eh. Glad you enjoyed
