Cancer is a horrible disease, it's not as though one day you're fit and well and the next you're a bit poorly and then die. It is fucking horrible, it's a living death sentence, a dark cloud that won't pass until they're finally dead and when they do die you're pleased. You feel shit for being glad, but at least you don't have to see someone you love dying a horrible painful death, you want them to die so they're no longer in crippling pain and putting you through emotional hell but at the same time you don't want them to die, because well, it's your mum, dad, sister,brother, wife, husband or whatever.

Cancer is not limited to the victim.
