Got this message from a logic group earlier...
hi,

some news i got from a german logic programmer:

next big update in July 09. hotspot is on: "time & pitch" new algorythm is coming!! & stability. also to clean some little bugs.

have a nice day,
elastic audio at last maybe?? Hope so..

Hopefully there's gonna be an easy way of automating the pitch of the synths without using a midi controller.


Or is there already? :?

Pitch shift? set to 100% mix, and "vocal" setting for best quality, then automate.

Tbh it sounds wank tho on most synths, but samples sound nice :)

oh and big up the Logic massive! the best DAW imo.

I seem to remember trying that out ages ago but it just being a bit of a ball ache. I'll have another play around when I get in.

hyperdraw is a great collection of tools. don't forget the hyper editor, too-- tons of control in there.

elastic audio debuted in protools 7-- basically a re-licensing of the ableton warp algorithm for another audio engine. it'd be nice to have in logic, absolutely.
