Surely any VST with an LFO can be a "Wobble VST" ?
Kids are always hyping about Albino3.......but I've never used it so wouldn't really know!
Just have a look around man, ZebraCM is free with Computer Music magazine every month and it's pretty cool

you are better off without massive mate, grab a copy of CM and use one of the freeware synths off the disk, like Zebra CM which is very similar to Zebra 2. great sounds and no fuck ups all for around £6

I've just got into albino to see what the hype was all about (and to find out if it was just rusko's swarvy haircut bigging it up) - and I can say, i really like it.
Once you get past the stupidily coloured UI its quite nice to use... a bit fiddley at times but least im not dropping those pesky little numbers in the wrong box without noticing anymore.

ok ultimately there's a lot of soft synths that can make awesome sounds. personally i'm an albino 3 fan primarily because the routing leaves you a lot of options to make complex sounds. I guess the main thing is to get to know one well enough that you feel comfortable with how to really manipulate it in creative way rather than just twiddling knobs and hoping for the best...
good riddance to massive though. i never got along with that'un.

first of all - i've gotten by fine without it. second - £100 is incredibly reasonable! can you imagine how much a piece of hardware that did half of what massive does would cost you? quite a bit more. You get what you pay for.

Probably £2500 and that a conservative estimate.

You can change the colour if you click the albino logo in the corner and it goes back to the main menu thing

Yeah, it's not like no decent music got made before people had the option of downloading shit. The oldskool jungle crew made some incredible music with very limited resources and they had to pay for their akais the old fashioned way eg by selling crack to schoolkids.

this man speaks truths!
most of my wobbles i've ever made were basic waveforms made in reaktor, and then resampled to death until i got the effect i was after. I'm not telling you that "its hard work and you've got to pay your dues" ... what i am telling you is that it's hard work at first, but it gets easier, to the point where you can make dope wobbles quickly.

I've got two perfectly working versions, one for mac and one for pc... I'll see if I can up them sometime!
Ended up buying it, but it never arrived where DV247 lie about their stock amount so had to get a refund... Still plan on buying it one of these days as it is definitely my most used AU!
