Newcomer to Dubstep.....what a find!

Hi All

I'm a newcomer to Dubstep, having stumbled on it via Mixmag article this September. What a find - although trying to find a record shop that's got it in stock is a challenge in itself...eventually tracked down copy of Burial in Jumbo's record store in Leeds...

I'm an ageing 40 year old, who spent his youth in clubs dancing to Happy Mondays, Public Enemy, Massive Attack, New Order etc....and also managed to get on the Underworld Guest List for their first gig in New York in 1996...

This music is the freshest and most dynamic I've heard in years....

Agreed. I'm getting on a bit too... I've spent years listening to grime, but hardly any dubstep until last year... but there's just not enough innovation in grime these days, whereas I think that dubstep is constantly evolving, and doesn't suffer from the same old rehashed lyrics about straps/shanks/carjackings/gash either lol.
I can't believe how much I love dubstep now... I didn't think I'd ever get into it as much as I have (and believe me, I have been trying), but now I'm hooked.
