bare in my mind i aint no english wizz head.
Synopsis
Pierre-Antoine Reeves is twenty-five and is one of the countless refugees seeking shelter and hospice in the Zombie War. He is the last of five siblings after being forced to kill his family as they became infected from a siege at their house in Paris during the first outbreaks. Pierre is now in the UK, 8 months since the first recorded out break of the Z virus. He is no longer affected by the concept of death due to his hundreds of encounters of terror and doom that riddle the world.
He is now part of an almost bandit like group who roam the lands treating it as their playground, they are using a kitted out lorry as their transport representing a moving fortress... continue?

So what have you got to do? Have you got to do the script for 1 scene?
With zombie films, they're all pretty damn similar so it'd be a challenge to have an original for a script...

Do a survey, and ask people what they would be more scared of - The zombies that run after you (a la 28 Day Later, Dawn of the Dead) or the monged-out, slow-walking zombies...made out of anthrax and armed with flamethrowers (a la My Imagination)

Yeh well basically as i do film studies its all gotta be the reall deal so the part of the script has to be 2000 word however 1/2 of that has to be stage directions and the other half is dialogue etc. i just need a story really with awesome ideas.

so this is cheating?
you can't be a screen writer if you can't even think of a plot for a zombie film

I reckon it'd be good exploring the mindset of an infected - the initial shock, the fear and apprehension as you start turning that zombie grey, the internal battle between being human and wanting to eat brains, the worry about what will become of friends and family until you're just left as pretty much a rabid animal. No hollywood stuff, just trying to keep it serious.
Or - have any zombie films explored the rebuilding aspect? Like, when all the zombies have been decapitated/starved/whatever, what happens next? How do you go about recovering from that kind of thing, both personally and as a species?
Think I'm getting a bit too into this tbh. But surely a more original idea, as opposed to a rehash of every other zombie film out there, would get you better marks?

Yep, 28 Weeks Later. The Americans fly in to repopulate London, and what happens next is a really shit film.

This is a great idea. That was one of the great things about World War Z, it dealt with that sort of thing.
In a way it'd be even more terrifying than the middle of the actual zombpocalypse. You've lived through hell on earth, you've seen the monsters, you've started to rebuild - but every dark alleyway, or forest, or beach, or basement, or empty house....or anywhere that isn't a floodlit fucking fortress is forever going to terrify you because of the fear that there might be stragglers.
You could have absolute terror and carnage in your film and only have about three actual zombie sightings; mistaken identity, frayed nerves, starvation leading to cannabilism would wipe people out just as effectively as a horde of the undead

Yeh that is a good idea, as far as i know this hasnt been done in film before but yeh i think i would like to go down that path (the zombie point of view path that is) was thinking of how he could of some how been infected like on a resource mission or sumin, then hiding his wound. thus endangering his crew. Howvever it doesnt stop there! would be mint if he had the like characteristics of a zombie but have the conscience of a human bean, like how he couldnt help but rip his mates apart but seeing it from his pre-infected mind. crazzzy shit.
