shipping question??

is 13 euros high to ship one record from switzerland to the west coast usa?? it seems quite high to me...can anyone let me know if that seems way high, or kinda normal?

or if there is a decent website for international shipping charges?

it's a bitch to ship 1 record
i think i ordered 2 records, and it ended up being around $15 for shipping from the UK

but the records were rare and i got em at retail so i considered myself lucky

Costs just less than £5 to send a 12" to the US in the post - I still charge £6 on ebay though to cover the packing and that arduous five minute walk to the post office.

That does sound a bit excessive - if it's off e-bay I sort of understand (although that still seems a lot) as although its a bit shifty, ebay nab 3% + 20p and paypal (who I think run e-bay) do likewise, so they have quite a good skim on low value goods and it seems that most sellers and buyers are aware of this.

However, that works out to about £8.78 which seems ridiculous to me. If it's from a business, that seems well excessive though. Vote with your money and don't use them again if you can help it.

dunno if i'd pay that much. it depends on what it is and how bad i want it.
what is it btw?
impatiently waiting on redeye to get hardfood/mirage. it'll cost me $20 to buy it from bm, and i'm so close to caving. i want it so badly.
