does anybody know what's up with uptownrecords?
i ordered like 8 or 9 vinyls but they hardly ever reply
or tell you what was in stock / they could send,
an invoice or anything...
i ordered for the first time there, so i don't know
if it is always like that.
but i am used to order at a webshop
and 2 minutes later you get an email
"you ordered... at ... euros... not in stock... " and so on.
but at uptownrecords it's like
".................."
mhh..... do i have to worry about my money ??
I've ordered from them before and it was fine.
I don't seem to remember an automated response, but they replied to my emails after a few hours - I guess when someone came around to checking them - and answered all my queries!

they do not seem so good on the emailing side, but other then that I can't really comment on the rest of uptowns service.
I've only placed one order and was told it was out of stock the next day then heard nothing for two weeks, think they just ignored my emails until it was back in stock, was a bit late by then I wanted out.
i'm sure you will get a responce, just errrr not all that quickly

uptown records have moved from there original location, and have now joined up with wyldpitch which is round the corner, however, this new premises is much smaller, so they might have records that need sending in storage somewhere, probably best to ring them and see whats going on.
