i was just intrested if someone chould explain how to make a bassline/kick variation similar to this. it so simple yet so effective. would appreciate some feed back thank you

Play the bass off the beat.
Low pass both kick and bass.
Make the bassline from a decending minor chord sequence using as few notes as possible and repeat ad infinitum.

i usually just cut a sampled 808 bass for my sub but i wanna learn different methods of acheiving a punchie kick sub bass combo thats more versitile
cheers . would be great for if you could give abit more info. iv only been producing for 3 mnths now. i dont know how to make a good bass and play it off the beat

Haven't listened to the track tbh, but advice to n00b producers is to experiment like hell, to ask as many questions to other producers as poss and to read the fucking manual haha :)

If your tune is sounding like a preset beat, don't worry about it. I bet Bnga or Skreams first couple of beats sounded shite lol.

Just keep plugging at it and do whatever you like the sound of. If you like the sound, its guarenteed that there will be others out there who also like the sound.... Just look at Bewitched ffs! :o
