It's crazy - I'm looking at the tracklising in itunes, some of the tunes only go for like, 59 secs!
Most of the tunes avg at about 2mins! That's pretty fast!

My conpiracy theory is they cut all the dubs in the same speed.

innit. once you know the tunes your gonna mix, and in order, it aint hard to lock a mix anyway. 1min is plenty of time. n-type is king at the quick precision anyway, glad to see he's doin allstars 5, thats gonna be dutty. theres alot of melody clashes in hatchas allstars 4 aswell which i aint really feelin. the selection is heavy though.

16 bar is easy when I'm on point, 8bar I can do but it's tricky.

serious, I can quite happily beatmatch a toon in a few bars, drop it in then ride the pitch for any minor corrections. It's just practice like anything else.

One of the many things I like the most about Hatcha is that he has perfected the art of dropping the beat for Crazy D. Plus his cuts are quick and tidy.
Casting spells on the platters that matter.
