JOINT FORCES
Christchurch’s own Joint Forces is made up of DJ/Producers Mysterious D, Chewie and Soul Provider. Their sound is focused on bass, and lots of it. Plenty of wobble and skanking riddums aimed towards dance floor results.

With their party orientated style of Dubstep and own distinct sound Joint Forces have gained world wide attention since first coming together in 2008.

They now have releases out on Stupid Fly Records (USA), Abducted Dub Records (USA) Dub Frequency Recordings (UK) and German label Dubstep Division Recordings

Joint Forces tracks are being played out by heavyweight Dj’s in the Dubstep scene including Babylon System, Nick Argon, DZ, TRG, Screwface and many more as well as getting radio play on stations such as SubFM (UK), RinseFM (UK) and on the highly rated Dubstepers Delight show on SensiFM in Sweden.

Having just finished a round of remixes for some high profile Dubstep artists, as well as a track for NZ Dub/Reggae legends Dubwize, (due for vinyl release on Stupid Fly Records) Joint Forces are set to take the Dubstep scene by storm, both here in NZ and overseas.

Come check Joint Forces out for yourself on their Christchurch leg of a New Zealand wide tour.

GHOST (UK)
Ghost is a name connected with tight production and supreme DJing abilities. With over 10 years under his belt and at least just as many releases, Ghost has immersed himself deep into the history of the UK Hip Hop/Dubstep scenes.

His production skills are high. He has releases on such labels as Fabric, Suspect Packages, Timmion, Breakin Bread, Rockwell Media Japan, Obese Records and CCR Japan, Glastonbury Promotional CD 2007 just to name a few.

His style ranges from Hip Hip right through to Funk and modern day Dubstep sounds. He has had his tunes played all over the world by such DJs as Giles Peterson, Mr Scruff, DJ Shadow, Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq, not to mention playing some of the biggest festivals in the world, such as Glastonbury and much more.

Born in the UK, where he spent 10 years of his life building up a plentiful career in music, he has travelled all over the world with his sound.

Sub Heavy is proud to bring you Ghost in the flesh. Playing a strictly Dubstep set for the Christchurch massive, this is set to be the biggest Sub Heavy yet. Make sure you don’t miss out.
