Sensoria is proud to announce its fifth installment!
We're really stepping up the bar for ourselves with this one. We've moved into a new gorgeous space and we're bringing a huge reinforced sound system.
We're also bringing...
MRK1 (Virus Syndicate, Planet-mu, Contagious)
[Manchester - UK]
http://www.myspace.com/mark_one
As a producer he's been a pioneer to both dubstep and grime scenes since the beginning. He's prolific, to the point where I can't even be bothered writing out his curriculum vitae, check it here on discogs (http://www.discogs.com/artist/Mark+One). On top of being an excellent seminal producer, he's also a top notch deejay.
Sometimes we feel like we just throw parties because we get jealous of all the great parties we see elsewhere, we know, if someone doesn't bring him, we'll never see MRK1, and so, here he is, playing for us.
Pandemic (Rough and Rugged Entertainment)[Ottawa]
born out of ghetto-tech and long time dubstep convert, Miles, aka Pandemic, has been pushing bass music in Ottawa for a while now. With a loaded track selection, he brings his heavy style to Toronto for the first time.
Grab his most recent set here: http://tinyurl.com/azey3k
DJ Contango [Toronto]
www.myspace.com/djcontango
UK Funky is finally getting a name for itself over here, give it a few more months and it'll be a packed bandwagon. Well before it was on the map, DJ Contango had been playing and producing it. His sound is directly descended from the streets of the UK, but not without his own influences borne from Toronto's Soca and Dancehall musics. Check his myspace out and expect a sensoria exclusive mix by him in the next comming week or two.
Sidenote (sensoria/dubslingers)[Toronto]
http://myspace.com/sidenoter
You all probably know Sidenote by now, Sensoria resident, he'll be playing an eclectic selection of heavy dance vibes spanning from techno to dubstep to woteva. His set sounds like music, its prolly close to 140bpm, but it'll keep you moving and you won't have a chance to ask "what genre is this?" Strictly a Love and Bass affair.
Freezachin (UKC, Fusion Radio)[Toronto]
Toasting the mic and hosting the vibe will be Freezachin. Vetran grime and dub emcee, Freeza really knows how to keep a crowd moving.

Did we mention that we're holding this at a beautiful beautiful venue where we can really take the sound up to the next level. The new occupants, "Free Your Game," are long time graffiti aficionados and oldskool ravers. Sensoria on the 28th will be a grand unveiling of two huge murals.
More details will be announced - follow the facebook event for updates.

Expect early doors to check out the murals in detail as well as some other added bonuses to the evening.
10$ before 12AM and 15$ afterwards (which won't be a problem since you'll all be there nice and early, right?).
