Here's me hoping that he'll reinvent dubstep with this the way he reinvented jungle with 'Hangable Auto Bulb'. It's not unlikely given his track record. He's quick to jump on trends but make them his own without sounding like his peers at all.

Maybe. There's a humongous (though mostly crap) thread about this on the Planet Mu forums in which some mysterious character named Suzy somehow had access to info about Boom Blaster (posted in morse code) and all of Steinvord's past and present tracks.

after seeing him at Bloc @ the weekend, I have the feeling that Dubstep is the last thing on his mind

I'll have to give that a read when I have a few hours spare. I like steinvords stuff either way.

I would love new material from him! But why did the Warp boss comment on it... wouldn't he release it on his Rephlex label?

It'll be on Warp as he'll be contracted to release it on that label, I presume.

lets hope not. what he invented was an annoying joke genre which no one ever called jungle. his efforts are prob the best of the bunch but still.

maybe if he actually took shit seriously instead of trying to wind people up he would make some decent music again.

bloc set was an expensive waste of time
