So I've been collecting samplecds for a bit, and wondering, Is there any program that will take the .wav files and cut all the silence out and trim each sample for me? Maybe a batch script in Soundforge? the samples are not all the same length tho =\ Any good coders that could do something like this? wonder how long it would take to write a proggy to do it in VC++ or somethin.. hrmz

i just want to grab everything off this scd without spending 3-4 hrs in soundforge.. maybe audition or something else has this kind of option? seems like there would be something to do this by now..

i was going to say that, although been years since i used SF

wavelab has a similar function, detect silence or summat. didnt work too well last time i tried tho, still need to do a bit manually, unless big gaps.

Nice one for RTFM and posting answer back here, makes a change
