sounds like he hasn't really got much time for dubstep, but is happy to cash in on it for now.

The vibe I got from him, much as with Noodles when I interviewed him, is that they find dubstep a bit predictable but want to take it somewhere new with their productions and collaborations...

El-B, I have to say, was a scholar and a gentleman. I could have happily sat there another hour or two talking tunes and culture but my fingers would've dropped off transcribing it all!

Really good read (half way through) I wish I'd not bottled it to chat to him when he played Bristol last year - he was one of the 1st people their alone with me drinking at the bar as well but... well it was the gas man :D

not really feeling his new dubstep ("Big Movement" was decent) but I'm keen on hearing his funky stuff as it seems like he's well versed in latin percussion.

yeah thats a big tune, best 'dubstep' thing from him ive heard for a while. cant wait for these percussive house bits hes got on the way and also for the man to fuck up the pop charts lol. LEGEND
