Can you take it back?

Obviously if it's just a little bit it's cool, but I bought a tune off chemical, got it today and it's warped to hell :(

Yeah

E-mail them. At the end of the day if you were in a record shop and picked up a record and it was warped or damaged in any way, you wouldn't buy that copy. Shouldn't be any different just cos you're "buying blind"

sometimes batches of records get warped so you might not get an 'unwarped' one back.

I have a little 'vinly clamp' that srews over the vinyl on the spindle.

Works a treat!

during my vintage reggae addiction i'd often get warped records, i used to find sticking them between a couple of books in the airing cupboard then whacking a couple of bricks on top soon flattened them out.

but yeah, if you can send it back

:D

fixing it yourself does kinda work I think but no where near as good as having a flat copy to start with!!

@ Threadstarter I got a flat copy of a record from chemical this morning i sent it back only a few days ago cos it was fucked. They were well sound and replaced it straight away no problems!

Yeah Chemical are good about stuff like this. They'll ask that you post it back for them to check and if it's properly warped (like completely unplayable) they'll either send you a good one (if there are any) or refund/credit.

It is not the record that is warped, it is you who are warped.

Sorry I had to say it.
