big mixer man, very good! sound quality and build is better than Pioneer/A&H.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

from some earlier advice I'm gonna be getting a pair of 1210's but was wondering if the deal doesn't include a mixer what would be a good value one? I mean they don't have to be amazing do they?

I would suggest go for a quality basic mixer and not some fancy crap with loads of FX that will break in no time.

The Urei mixers are quite cheap and prob the best for the money.

Or check out some of the Ecler mixers.

i used one of these quite a lot for a few months. they are fun, the big knobs are great. the sampler is pretty cool and works well. everything on the mixer is top notch except for the faders, which will go out ALL the time.

faders go out? what do you mean? you trying to say the faders wear out fast?

They are known for being built like tanks. The faders on them dont even actually make contact with the surface if I remember correctly.
