hey, has anyone seen the line-up for bestival?
a seriously heavy line up for a small festival
go to:
http://www.bestival.net/ and click on artists at the bottom of the page after the intro has played.
let me know your opinions if you are planning on going or have attended a previous bestival..

A really nice weekend was lucky enough to have beautifull weather the year before last when I went, like glastonbury but smaller and more intimate, the fancy dress added a quirky vibe that really made it feel like something special and the production of the whole event had a nice personal non corporate feel to it all. More chill out than rave banger and the sort of place to see lots of stuff you wouldn't normally, this years line up looks great too, I would highly reccomend going.

pretty disappointing lineup compared to last years in my opinion. hopefully they announce more decent electronic acts. i thought kraftwerk were meant to be playing?

I've been the last 2 years, both weekends i had a sick (and very messy) time, but will probably give it a miss this year, the lineup doesn't look that good.

im a lucky b-steward cos i live 4 mins away from it and am playing.
More acts will be announced nearer the time can't wait to see the final line-up.
Last year was the 1st year it rained and imo didnt dampen the atmosphere one bit, so will be good to see what this years vibe is like.

The lineup for
Soundwave looks better than Garden imo (same venue). Went to Garden last year, absolutely amazing location.
Bestival is sooo much $$$, especially with having to get the ferry there (and I've heard bad things about the number of dogs with a very good sense of smell at the other side?). Lineup isn't all that this year either imo. Martyn, Appleblim, and 2562 nice additions though.

line up was of a similar standard at garden last year, but doesn't really matter it's an amazing place/atmosphere
