Together, Monkeytek & Jon A.D. run the Lo Dubs label out of Portland, Oregon and throw a monthly soundsystem party called Various. Both djs come to the dance with load of exclusive dubs as well as a grip of favorites and know how to keep the party lively.

Monkeytek is known for bringing a dubwise dubstep sound has extensive roots in dub, danchall & jungle and his selections and mixing reflect this through the use of heavy low end basslines and rootical vibes. He locates tunes to release on Lo Dubs Records and runs a monthly soundsystem party called Various. He last played Grime City in December on 2007 and is excited to return.
Jon A.D. is chief operator of Lo Dubs Records, runs Anthem Records, a label and a shop based in Portland, Oregon. Anthem specializes in "All records we feel a kinship to." This ranges from Indie, Folk, Techno, Psych, Doom Metal, Drone, Stoner Metal, Dubstep, Out Rock, Breakcore, International and more.
Lo Dubs, in the broadest sense, is a Garage music label, in that the bassline is the dominating force. Many Lo Dubs releases can be popularly categorized as Dub, Grime, Reggae, Dubstep, and classic garage while still maintaining both a focus and clear commitment to the core Garage sound. Always one to avoid the trappings of dudestep, Lo Dubs has featured releases from DZ, 6Blocc, XI, Cardopusher, Pacheko, Starkey & South3rn. Then next few months will see releases from Djunya, Odessa, El Rakkas, DJG and a full length album from Clubroot (as featured recently on Mary Anne Hobbs BBC1 program). Lo Dubs latest offerings Starkey's "Starkbass" mix cd and Hoodz "Bad Mind" are in stores now.
