Question about a Dubstep Mix

Post by ns10 » Wed Apr 01, 2009 6:43 pm

hey hows it going everyone?

I was just wondering does anyone out there know of any mixes of dubstep & turntablism put together? I've heard quite a few Hip Hop/Scratch DJ's playing Dubstep in their sets these days and with turntablism it sounds incredible in my opinion.

If anyone knows of any songs or mixes that follow this sort of description, please let me know

Thanks in advance

I think jfb's done a few mixes with scratching, had the flip to that ed solo tune too, would seem like a waste if he didn't seen as he was uk dmc champ. http://www.myspace.com/jfbdj

I knew I saw a thread about turntablism and dubstep before...

My fellow islander & labelmate DJ Packo just finished a well-produced dubstep & turntablism mix, with lots of nice scratches & glitchy moments... Its uncanny how well scratch wobbles go with dubstep wobbles. Direct link to mix:

Really I should start a new thread addressing the topic by name but there already exists one in the mixes section. Check the post for a tracklist:

big ups Packo!
