i would have a heart attack if he released the multi-tracks for some kind of remix contest, "a la" NIN.

it is WAY more refined and proffesional than any of his previous work, no matter how much u may enjoy the songs from his old stuff.

Refined and professional never beats enjoyable songs though, does it?

to each his own but i enjoy foley room a lot. it is clearly geared at audio heads more than tune heads

Yeah, a foley room is a room used for precise audio editing or something isn't it?

I've mixed a bunch of stuff from Out From Out Where & some from Bricolage (in breakcore mixes).

Was never really big on Foley Room, though. OFOW is his best far as I'm concerned.

It's a recording studio where they produce sound fx for films.
Anyone heard the Two Fingers Album yet[AmonTobin&Joe Doubleclick]?,some of the stuff on there is ripe for a remix or two[esp the track kemal rhythm ].

Yes, it was out Monday. There is a great Spor remix of the next single coming soon, goes from dubstep to dnb. Doubleclick occasionally posts on a blog i oversee http://godsofwar.wordpress.com/ . You can hear the Spor remix over here >>> http://godsofwar.wordpress.com/2009/03/ ... p-and-out/

i reckon a foley room is where they make foley.

foley is the incidental sounds in a film or tv show.
every footstep, glass clink, key rattle, blood drip.
all done by a foley artist.

(insert pun about axel foley)
