Yo,

This might sound dumb still, but ...
How do you pay off a credit card?

I basically got one with my student account last month, and I've used it and I think I need to pay some of it off soonish.

I don't get any paperwork sent to me, it goes home because I'm at uni.

Is there any way I can go to the counter and hand them some money and the card to pay it off or do I need the actual paperwork?

Any help would be cool,

i think you just need to have enough money on your banc account and the calculate it automatically
the paper work is just the information sent to you of what you used it for.
at least that's what i think?

On online banking they say they need to send you a direct debit mandate to set this automatic payment up. It's all a bit epic getting mail from my old address, and will probably be a bit late by the time everything's done.

Looks like I'm going to HSBC today ...
