Dubstep for your parents

Post by instrumentalist » Tue Apr 07, 2009 9:49 pm

ive just picked my parents up from the pub and on the drive home my OldMan said "this musics alot better than that rap stuff u used to listen to, i could actually listen to this"

he wasnt talkin about Skream's 'In for the Kill' or Stenchman's 'the Number1' either, we're talkin Bar 9 'Murda sound',

RESULT :deephouse party:

Lol. My father listens to ambient. He hates rap. He loves Luke Vibert, Aphex Twin etc too.

My mum used to help to organise illegal raves back in ther late 80s and then went on to do the public relations for Fantazia in the early 90s so got me into Acid House and Hardcore. Then my dad introduced me to Jungle in about 93 and a true love was born...

my parents likes most of the stuff i play for them... they dont get boring with age when it comes to music... its kinda weird actually... 1,5 years ago i was really into trash metal, and my mom was like "turn that shit down!" and then a few months ago she asked me if i could get her some slayer or metallica, caus she was getting tired of all the prodigy CD's i gave her a few years back  same goes for my dad.. one day i came over at his place to witness him blazing out widdlers Lady Dub on his stereo
