I don't use Cubase (used to before SX came along), but anyone tried this out yet?

seen how much it is to upgrade for 3 to 4..haha their havin a fukin laugh.

aparently alot is the same apart from new instruments, new eq (coz everyone uses waves) the lad i work with who teaches the music production side of my course has just got it, i'll ask himt o giz a full reveiw to hit you's up with.




im gonna move to sx 4 as soon as it's avalable for me to "try b4 you buy"

The two events weren't linked, it was just coincidence.

I was using Cubase from about '98 up until 2001. I started dabbling with Logic from 3.x onwards, and preferred it. I Liked the customisable environment options (like building controllers for my sampler and synths) as I was using more hardware then.

And so I still use it as I prefer it - it feels less clunky (to me), and I'm about to go G5 Quad core shortly, so 7 7 7 is me.

oh yeah if i had a mac i'd probably use logic too but cubase gets the job done just fine imo

Yeah they both do most def (as do allthe others). All about the user!

seems like there r alot of BUGs in new update so i stay with SX3 for now.
