Hi !
I just listened to your track and here's a few comments (i use nearfield studio monitors not Altec Lansing) :

- That's too short ! Did you plan to finish it ?
- I think you should improve the end, thats way too sudden (but that depends on your answer)...
- Snares are a little aggressive in the global mix, but you can easily adjust it with an EQ.
- Samples from Mortal Kombat : love it !
- Wobble stuff could be deeper. EQ again on LF.
- Did you mastered the track or put a maximizer or a comp on the master channel ?
Hope you can move on with those tips, and excuse my possible language mistakes, im french.
I'll post my 1st dub track in a few days too...

Cool!
Thanks voor the comments/tips.
This was just a little impression of the track I just finished today.

I mastered the track in Cubase. And actually mastered it on my headphone. An "AKG 171 studio".
Yeah have to EQ some things maybe, tho I like the big snares :p

Im looking forward to hear ur music man.

Reason4 and Cubase. Cubase only for EQ. Reason and Cubase rewired.

No no..

Thank you

haha

Cool.

I just use reason 4 at the moment.

I'm quite new to producing.

How long you been producing?

Haha!

Well, I use reason now for almost a year of 4.
Always playing wih the tools, finding new stuff to learn within Reason.
Learning all the different synths.

And since a couple of years I like dubstep. Actually a lot.!
So I tried to make some music and come up with this one...

And how long have u been producin' now?

Well that track is very good for your 1st dubstep track!

Well, i used to produce grime but i sort of drifted towards dubstep because i fell in love with the simplicity and obviously the low frequencys

:)

I think I've had Reason for a year and a half now. (ish)

nice sampling.....whoopee!! ---->given me an idea??

chk out my 1st dubstep tune.....

not as much experimentation on the bass (still learning) but i'm working on it...i'm using Acid 6.0 and sum standard free VSTs....

u've got the dubstep feel on lock with all the different bass traks and effects....i like it, but agree the outro could have been smoother/subtler..
