loving this vibe - synkro in particular (just bought all of his releases on beatport). love the deep vibe with the wicked groove!

so i'm looking for more producers with that same sort of shuffle & vibe - mournful rnb samples etc

(and yes i already know about burial) :D

If the ghost of 2step, that will bevan so eloquently buried in sth london, were reincarnated. It would be born again in austin texas as...

I think this could be a big year for SYNKRO. I think maybe he gets seen as a Burial copycat, but he's a seriously talented producer even if he is influenced by Burial. My favourite tracks of his are Dont Know and the recent Tell Me absolutely lovely stuff!

Burial, grievous angel, sbtrkt, us (Dusk + Blackdown), certain Narcossist and the badman of badman, Sully.

Dont be afraid to dig into older dubstep or 2step: El-B, Groove Chronicles, Wookie, Artwork/Menta, Horsepower, Zed Bias and Steve Gurley. Well worth digging for!

burial has a lot to learn from synkro imo, his sound is similar and more developed, but not a copycat
at least not more of a copycat than everybody else, exceptions are in the margins of 0.1%

I am wary of putting up my stuff for folk to check what with the hoo haa about self promotion lately.

However i don't give a toss if it means somebody enjoys the music, I make tracks that fit most of your initial requirements.

I always say, have a listen to the tunes on my page. There are regular updates, a few more tunes will be going up in the next couple of weeks.

And if you thinks it's all a crock of shite, fair enough. Just let me know!

Cheers mate.

I’ve been enjoying Point B’s Cider Cones & Animal Bones EP recently since hearing Oneman’s set on the Generation Bass thing. It’s sort of techy 2-step garage ie. not really dubstep at all. As you were.
