LOL what do you mean?!

pro ev is clearly a superior game. ive played both plenty (fifa out of circumstance, not choice), fifa is so basic its untrue, its like the players are on little tracks, there are still sweetspots all over the place, movement is limited

pro ev has tactical depth, the potential to almost constantly improve your game...im shocked there is even the slightest debate about this

Evo appeals to the masses? Its got to be the other way round surely.

Fifa has all the official kits, boots and team names plus huge promotion and advertising, When i use to play Fifa it was only cos i didn't know of Pro Evo. Now theres no turning back.

and if its so bad why has fifa tried to be more like evo in the last few years? why do i always crave a game of evo when im playing fifa, why does every person i know who plays games love evo, even if they dont really like football, are the names of players and clubs really more important than gameplay, why are evn three votes for fifa??

You are joking, yeah? Pro Evo has about as much tactical depth as county league football. Everyone I know that plays Pro Evo finds it difficult to score on FIFA but will bang in 6 + every game on Pro Evo and I do the same even tho I NEVER play it.

Why do you always crave a game of Pro Evo when playing FIFA, cos its your preference. Why does every person you know who plays Evo love it, even tho they dont really like football? My lord....hit the nail on the head. And no, real players and clubs aren't as important as gameplay, but they go a long way in enhancing the realism and atmosphere within the game. Even if Pro Evo was a better game, it will always be a cheap imitation. Pro Evo gives away too many stop-starts in fouling and poor gameplay in tackling. The animations were shit as well, but I cant speak for the last one cos didnt see much of that on the game.

If FIFA appealed to more people, then surely it would be winning the poll? I know more Evo people than Fifa. More Evo people that honestly don't have a good understanding of football in general. The bandwagon gets a battering.

no they wont but tbh i think theyre pretty qualified to judge a football game seeing as they play it every day

if someone made a game about my job id know whether it was good or not, itd be a fucking dull game tho

Pro evo kills Fifa on tactile depth, when i play Fifa and i'm on the counter attack, my fowards stand on the half way line and if i knock a through ball, my mans clear, 20 yards later and out of nowhere there are 4 opposing defenders standing on the edge of the box. Ridiculas!

The reason Pro evo is winning is because its a better game, its built a sucess based on just gameplay, unlike Fifa which has been the official football game over the years and is established, it always has hype and advertising, yet fails with its gameplay. Having said this i haven't played '07 which is meant to be alot better.

Also, your point about it being different as its a game, well obviously but it is a simulation so they would know best, same goes for racing games which are endorsed by racing drivers.

You should def play 07, gameplay much improved!

Pro Evo has had its 15 mins of fame coz FIFA has regained its place at the top with the latest release.

I would advise all the pro evo fans to rent fifa 07 and play over a weekend. If you still think pro evo better fair enough but 07 will regain your confidence in fifa!
