Tune called 'The Journey'. Deep tune, but dunno if the strings are suitable?

The strings are nice but a bit too loud, I think it would be nice if you were to have them coming in gradually, u could automate the volume? Also I would introduce elements of them during the intro and then drop them back again when the sub hits. hope u get it too a stage ur happy with neway, swear thats the longest thing about making beats!

yeah, it hasnt got any automation whatsoever yet, the beats are pretty much done, i just wasnt sure if it was to be as 'epic' as it is, seeings as i started off wanting it to be more samba/batucada orientated.

New one in the player from last night called 'Plan B'.
Slightly more 'Funky' than what i usually make, check it out. :D

I really rate that Plan B tune, wasn't too sure at first but the dub style really caught me. The journey one is good too, though I think the dub effect thing you have going on in PlanB works better than the epic string thing. I like the progressive structure of the tunes too, the way Plan B starts with an oldskool electro beat and evolves house and dub elements works really well.

I like 'The Journey' lovely beats. Is it me, or does it have a kind of 80's vibe to it? Sounds a bit like a Jan Hammer joint.

Strings are OK, could just do with a bit of motion, try out some panning, reverb, fade ins and outs and a bit of filtering.
Could always try with a few chord stabs an octave up or something on top of the strings.
Chuck in some random samples, and play around see what happens.

Otherwise, really nice and always feeling your beats mate. 'Specially the electro samples on 'Plan B' nice one.
