FXpansion GURU vst!!!!

Post by soosh21 » Fri Apr 24, 2009 11:07 am

Ive been using this vst for a few years now and absolutely love it. I dont think many people know about it, but i'll leave a link and u can get demo on their website and see what you think. I use battery 3 as well but this seriously is the shit!!! For all your drums/beats/cutting samples/ needs.

Only £100 squids ro buy as well!! Keep this this quiet, i like the fact no many folk know about it yet! cheers.

yeah i agree on the bitcrusher, a lot of the effects are pretty good. Only thing that annoys me is u cant enlarge its screen size, its pretty small when working on a macbook!! the new beta update is out as well, looking good.

um what is it?

Sampler, sequencer + FX?
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Do you know if you can drag the midi step sequencing into your arrangement for editing there? i use a lot of my mpc3000 swings thats in my midi quantize menu.
Yeah man u can totally just drag and drop and then edit to your hearts content in your DAW of choice. For a wee program its fairly packs a punch!

yeah man im completely with you! i use this VST more than any other. Ive recently tried NI maschine which is pretty cool as well, but once GURU 2 comes out i think its goning to whip all the competition!

BPM and NI have tried to copy all the best bits of guru, but guru will come back strong, this i have no doubt!

well...

when I had a clinic with the FXpansion rep (back when I sold music equip) he told me that they basically took the better elements of Groove Agent and Battery to make this

and yeah

my standard process for making tunes is:

Load Guru 1st...

all other things after that
