'FWAA'

sorry to post a 'how do i make this' nub thread, but anyone got any tips on how to get that sounds thats like a 'wub' bass, but instead of 'wu' it goes 'fwa'. any help?

try saw waves, turning up the resonance, and a formant filter. Also experiment with the wave of the lfo, instead of using a sine lfo you could try saw to give a bit more of a sharp sound

thnx for the help guyz, i know about long attack, but theres a sound before the bass starts, like a 'fwww'. maybe a seperate sound altogether, i dunno.

Turn the Filter Frequency to around 35
Turn up the filter resonance to about 85
Your also gonna need to turn the filter envelope decay up.
Usually saw/square waves are best for this effect
I think that's what your after..
But yeah post up a sample?

try tying a filter envelope to a low pass filter with a medium attack time, no decay and full sustain. Then turn the envelope amount fairly high, hey presto ur done .
