As far as I am aware, it's not a producers choice to go mainstream.

Do you think Benga and Coki sat there and was like "Yeah lets make a tune that will cross over four different genres". Don't think so, it's when stupid marketeers and PR people think they know best and throw it out there so they can get a higher rate rather than caring about the sound itself.

Night was just one example of a tune that got played out, and before you know it Heartless Crew have a copy so they can play it at their raves.

Which reminds me, last time I saw mighty moe MC on a set was back at Cargo for the first Night in the life of Rinse...
