Can anyone help me??

i need a dubstep timline of some source of info that goes through the years of dubstep, how its evoled etc.

is there any previous posts?? or maybe links to other sites/forums??

got nuff famous as a musical jenre when it was on skins prob the ebst tv show

Weird....anybody every check out Ishukur's Guide to Electronic Music or whatever its called? Don't think dubstep is on there.

At least I didnt notice it....anybody know?

Yeah, I saw that a while back and dubstep definitely wasn't on it. It is fairly old though, so that may be why.

Wow, agreed... I like these types of charts, so informative... You can kind of make sense of how the sound evolved in your mind if you're familiar with the work of the artists... Speaking of that, there's a bunch of names on here I still need to go check out.

Also, is there another DJ Abstract who does drum n bass or is it the same guy? I remember there was this release by someone of that name around 2001 called "Keep Tryin'"...

Not sure I would agree with the end part of that diagram, would have drawn a line from N-Type to Grime. Would have put Wookies name under Dark 4x4 aswell. All down to opinion though.

there's already a revised timeline in progress. watch this space! soon come...
