Best Dubstep track ever!

Post by futures_untold » Wed Apr 29, 2009 12:07 pm

There ain't no right or wrong on this one, but which track do you feel has captured the vibe of dubstep the best?

My dubstep equivelent of Origin Unknown - 'Valley of Shadows' is Digital Mystikz - 'Haunted'

I realise it has that nasty midrange bit at the beginning, but that 'bloop bloop bloop' bit just gets me every time! :D

Headhunter - Drop The Waste.

I'm not even a fan of this sort of dubstep either but that track is something special!

the way the snares hit in the intro and the vocal samples (vocal samples are one of my pet hates in dubstep too) and the snare, two kick drums.. "badman" to the drop is just one of the best things in this scene..

Kode9 - 9samurai is joint first too... perfect progression in that tune..

Probably Neverland to be honest! Am yet to find a piece of sound in that tune that doesn't make me want to shit beds nation-wide.

Ehm, ruffage has a pretty big place in me chest pump too. Probably just tipped horror show into second place.

Either,

Hidden Worlds - 501
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B23S60gDJlM
So fucking good, the way dubstep should be, post apocalyptic soundscapes with stomping bass, no wanky LFO to Filter cutoff shite.

or

Strength - L-Wiz
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgNVmYBYtes
...Filthy, the song title says it all. This song is the embodiment of power.
