I have just spent roughly 30 hours of the weekend with pure dubstep tunes pumpin out of my headphones, much to the disgust of my wife and 1 year old......and i have just come home from work to don the headphones again...goodbye family hello dubstep

thats dedication to a sound. Hmmm, maybe you could get more interactive on it with your son.... perhaps record some stomach rumblings for some grimey blines

i love it so much because i always felt the dub vibez and also abstract hop just like Krush or Shadow has done... U know, the Mo Wax golden days ;-)

dubstep is like good hard dnb but with more space for music (if u know what i mean)
the problem of dnb is that it is too fast to put sth except raging breakbeat and growling basslines ;)
and here we have wicked breakbeats with strange rythm, we have heavy bass lines and we have enought space between to add some music :P

exactly right..., i would also say i love it cause like d.n.b and jungle, it almost always includes that human aspect. i.e. vocal samples, and most definately, the human made bass.

I love dubstep because it's the only true 21st century dub. And while new genre may come and go I will love dub til the day I die.

I fell lucky, 'cos my eight months old daughter relaxes and falls asleep to the dubstep bass.

i love dubstep because it is such a colorful sound with loads of different styles and vibes... yet generally centered around my only true addiction, BASS
