I was soo excited for Assassins creed when it first came out, and it was sick for like a few hours. Got really boring when i realised how stupidly easy it was - literally completed the whole game without dying, or getting stuck on a single thing.

you could really tell it was developed by a woman, dont get me wrong - i love women. i just dont think they really understand video games

and also, on that topic, what the fuck has happened to games. I remember back in the 16 bit days no one COMPLETED games.
if someone had completed sonic, or mario, or even ecco the fucking dolphin, they were a legend. Now any old person can just sit down and enjoy a game. WHAT THE FUCK

Assassins Creed was mediocre. I was also worked up about it, but then played it for a few hours, realized it was bullshit and then got bored and never played it again.

This is fucking better news.

I found this with GTA IV 2bh. The storyline was good, but once i completed it i never really played it again and it only led me to my ultimate dissappointment with the online multiplayer =/. Give me a PS2 and Vice City or San Andreas over that any day .
Strangely enough, I've got to agree with you. While the game looks visually stunning, and the characters and gameplay is good, it's the stupid shite and little silly mini-game stuff in the previous 2 that maintaned their re-playabilty. I finished GTA IV in a few days and then went 'oh...well...now there's nothing to really do'

Yeahh haha i did spend the first few hours playing it in chat with my mate goin on about how amazing shit was on it and what you could do but ultimately like so many of todays hyped up games it had hardly any replay value. I think games today are more obsessed with graphics and look than substance. Most of the ps1, ps2 games i remember having had awesome replay value, i can barely think of any i had for ps3 or 360 with much of it.
Very true. There aren't many, or in fact, any great RPG's on either as well. Shame, really, coz' I used to fucking live of that shit when the Playstation was about.

I don't think so, all I remember is having the abilty to change into a rock and then create a hundred flaming televesions floating in mid-air.

...Shit I need to try that game on debug mode when I'm high...
