Post by beer » Fri May 15, 2009 2:46 pm

i've got a friend coming to london over the weekend of the 5th june and was thinking of taking her to matter on the friday.

Line-up /

ROOM 2: Benga, Plastician, Chef, Krust & Die, Lomax, Culture Shock, Instra:mental, MC's SP:MC, Lowqui, Justyce

has anyone on here been to matter/ram? i aint myself and would like to see what its like. how busy does ram get?

should i take her there or give it a swerve?

I went to the last one and stayed in room 2 for most of the night. How best to sum it up?

How about Dizzee, Skepta, D Double E on the mic?

BIG night. Great vibes in room 1 when I headed down for the end of the night too. No hype, everyones there for a good time.

in the main room the ceilings are too high, its too bright not enough bass. luckily room2 is the complete opposite and that's where the dubstep is. oh yeah, the security are wankers!

i completely agree. don't get me wrong, i had a sick night, caspa and hatcha tore it up in room 2. but its proper concrete and impersonal. no sofas for cotching for a little chill, just these shit concrete benches. imo i prefer fabric.
