Not trying to be funny... but I think the fact that he brushes his teeth with evil every morning helps.

But seriously- he does some of the best basslines period. One of my faves. Part of me wishes I knew how he did it, part of me would just like to keep thinking that he simply records the sound of him punching Satan in the face.

Never heard of these guys before, but listened to Zealot and Crux on youtube... sounds to me like they're just doing the same sort of thing as the darker dnb guys, but at 140bpm... lots of resampling, heavy on the fx+automation, splitting the frequencies up and processing them all differently, more resampling and a lot of luck.

I love it, actaully, imma go find moar

As mentioned above, resampling would be one poissible way of doing things.

I reckon that notch filters and distortion are your best bet for achieving that kind of sound. ;)

Too right.

Well, before I make make myself look like a fool for a second time... am I correct in saying that King Cannibal is actually 666 flesh-eating zombies + a mariachi band?

Cos that's what I have been telling people ...

dnb at 140 tbh.

Sounds horrible.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

No no, i'm one flesh eating zombie - its just that i've got 666 heads. Your right on the mariachi front though. Just don't forget they are all dressed up as 'El Mariachi'.
