21日上午7时30分,汕头市潮阳区谷饶镇一家生产内衣和耳机护套的家庭作坊发生一起重大火灾,过火面积达202平方米。经汕头市消防部门及时组织抢救,大火于上午10时05分被全部扑灭。火灾共造成13人死亡,15人住院救治,其中3人重伤。火灾原因正在调查。

记者从广东省消防总队了解到，21日上午汕头市潮阳区谷饶镇发生的13人死亡、4人重伤重大火灾的工厂是一个家庭作坊，起火建筑为钢筋混凝土结构的村民自建家庭住宅。据广东省消防总队宣传处介绍，该家庭作坊主要生产耳机。
