VESTAX HELP!! PLEASE!!!

Ez all!

Not sure if anyone can help but it's worth a try!! Basically one of my Vestax PDX 2000 broke, right when I was about to do a recording with my new vinyl!! Gutted!!

Anyway after taking the back plate off and trying new fuses etc I've found that the problem is the on/off switch! (I replaced the working decks on/off switch for the broken and the broken now works but of course now I still have one deck out of action!

I've tried the phone number on the vestax website and the number is not in use and looks like it could be a digit missing! I also managed to find another phone number and no one answers the phone, I have also tried emailing and have not had a response back!

Does anybody know of any contact details for Vestax or dealt with them before or does anybody know where I could get my hands on a replacement switch?

Any help from fellow ninjas would be a great help and muchly appreciated! I can't carry on without my decks!! Lol!

Nice one both! I know what your saying about poor customer service I still haven't been able to speak to Vestax or get an email back! Great equipment but crap support! Is a shame really, as I do love my Vestax soo much but yeah it has slightly tainted my view of them! But still, I tried Tru Sound and the guy there was really helpful and says he can send a replacement for £2 + p+p! So can't fault that at all! Just means I can't mix anything till I get it! Still at least I have one deck that I can use to listen to my shiny new vinyl!!

Again thanks to both for your help!

technics 1210s ftw, plus most clubs nowadays have technics.

EDIT: if you have a spare 280 quid laying about this is a bargain ya cant refuse.
