This is going to sound weird as hell. But I figured I might as well ask.

There's a website where musicians that are going on tour can browse through cities, and find listings about random people who live in that city who have no problem with hosting them, free of charge. I can't remember what the website was called...but I'm sure someone's heard about it.

i want to choose the people but it sounds awesome

it's pretty cool.

and it turned out it wasnt simply for musicians....anybody who is travelling anywhere sort of thing.

they have various rating levels for experienced couch surfing participants, so you know that they are reliable, safe people (although you can never COMPLETELY be sure, but you get the point)
