Deejay Principal first cut his teeth playing out on reggae sounds in the 1980s, before making the logical progression into the emerging 1990s jungle scene. However, it wasn't until he discovered the ruff / smooth sounds of UK Garage that he finally found his true calling, becoming a member of the Sidewinder crew and going on to share the bill with the who's who of the UK underground, from EZ and Dizzee Rascal to Marcus Nasty and Joker.
