and just to clarify. you cannot compare skateboarding and rolling as they are fundamentally different. its like comparing driving to motorcycling.

everybody knows skateboarding has always been better.
all binliners can do is 360s, front flips, gay little boot-grabs and huge rails that are really easy to balance on.

blading is mostly for pussies. very few people binline with style. you're not impressive, you're a muppet with wheels on your shoes.

i am not a pussy or a muppet and im not trying to "impress you"

it IS fundamentally different because blades are attached to you and a board is not. it dictates every facet of the sport in its execution. i dont like getting drawn into ridiculous and infantile arguments of " my sport is better than yours". for 1, as a rollerblader i look at the sport of skateboarding with a great sense of admiration as the technical difficulty is immense and most skateboarders are nice people who mutually respect our sport too.

secondly, when dubstep was still up and coming and even today people persecute us 'steppers because, and i quote D1, "they said our music was crackhead music". I wonder how is it that when many parrallels can be drawn when considering the mainstream veiws of the genre and sport("its gay, it looks/sounds shit, blah blah blah")still people treat me like a fucking leper because i rollerblade, even in a music forum. when i turn up to a dnb night with dubstep on and the majority of people gun the sound and say its shit it reminds me of all the times iv been heckled at the skate park for being a blader.

im kinda annoyed right now but im going to continue immersing myself in dubstep in the same way i immerse myself in blading. with full commitment.

few of my best mates blade i dont really see what all the fuss is about. got mates who play football, bmx, blade, skateboard, fish, motorcross, cricket, and friends who sit around smoking weed all day. who gives a shit, i dunno about other places but where i live it's really not a big issue about blading or whatever.
