Subsequent Mastering is live! (More free mastering!)

Post by Littlefoot » Sat May 30, 2009 2:53 pm

Hello, exciting times, my Mastering Studio now physically exists.

It's an on going process to get the most out of the room, buy some lovely new plug-ins and hopefully some swanky furniture and if you're lucky a lava lamp (they make things sound warm right? kidding)

Out to Macc from Subvert for the ongoing advice and nerd-outs via email :)

As a kinda introductory deal I am offering no strings attatched one free tune mastered...

could be part of an ep your getting out and wanna try some mastering engineers out?

could be an MP3 release your selling on Beatport or similar sites?

or it could just be you wanna find out what your track sounds like mastered.

I don't have an ultra swanky website (YET!) but there is info on the myspace - > http://www.subsequentmastering.com

If you are in Nottingham, come down the studio and we can do it together!

Had some real nice feedback from guys on this board so far, hope to continue this.

PS. Obligatory pictures of me sitting at the desk looking confused coming soon!

:o just got my tune back, joe you're a legend.

Before when I mixed this track with other more profesional tunes mine sounded dull and muffled in comparison, now its much much better. I dont need to touch the EQ or gain when mixin it with the pro's tunes.

subsequent mastering is legit

Tah to everyone offering this, I definitely want to get some tunes in, I'm no way the perfect mixer but I'd like to hear what differene is made.

I'm simply bringing them out of reason, a couple of the tracks I'm considering all stay in the green/yellow (no dbs- on the actual mixer) but the maximiser level shows some rare clips. Shall I just drop the master down a bit? Any limiting would be pointless wouldn't it?

Just bumping this as I have a track (I think) ready to go, but don't want to mess anything up.
