i'm looking for dubstep similar to skull disco. i really like the complicated tribal rhythms. it puts you in to trans with tribal and keeps boosting you with dub.

the only similar artist I found is L-Wiz. and it used some middle eastern influences.

or some dubstep with a complicated structure

please suggest me smtn.

thanks ,

Mount kimbie has some sounds u should check... Their song "taps" has a sick Shackletonesque break towards the end

Mala "new life baby Paris" is a pretty complicated rythm

Edit: on the middle eastern tip, check dusk + blackdown and horsepower productions

if u love the ongibongi check old mystikz & loefah tunes, especially check loefah/truly dread, also check kode 9 / den of drumz rmx. horsepower - sholay is another one...and you definitely need to look for Youngsta's old shows on rinse fm from ca. 2004...you will find some in the mix section. from the range of current productions u will definitely like ramadanman. btw i cant make the connection between various & skull disco...various aint ongibongi imo, it has a folk/pop appeal but it definitely aint ongibongi...

Not skull disco style at all, but still is dubstep/glitch-hop with folk music.

Beats Antique.

look my myspace site for the "bagolyasszonyka remix" featured with the hungarian folk singerin Katalin Szvorak, this tune is real folkstep

tho the tune is 4 years old, it was my first dubstep tune, I worked with it 1 year long, because the melody of the original vocal is so complicated
