// your demos ///

Post by dr i honey » Mon Oct 16, 2006 8:50 pm

at ease :)

seeing as for most people time is in short supply these days i'm gonna make a simple post ... i co-run a netlabel that sells digital releases in the UK and US ... we release all kinds of stuff - electro/electronica/breaks/downtempo/dubstep etc and are always keen to hear fresh sounds from producers ...

to make everyone's lives easier you can contact me here henryoid@virusb-23.co.uk ... please title your e mail "Dubstep demo"

try and make sure your mp3 or wav is tagged and titled with your producer name and track title ...

there are no promises of a release ... but if tracks are sent that we like at HQ it may lead to something like a compilation album or individual artist releases

note: please use the e mail address as i don't check here often enough to keep up with PMs

so, after a bit of head scratching, chin stroking and chats it's been agreed that a compilation album will be made ... it will be exclusive tracks from members of this forum ONLY and will be released as a collaboration between www.dubstepforum.com and www.virusb-23.co.uk

at the moment there are no plans for any certain number of tracks ... if enough are sent in that make the grade it may even end up as a double album type thing

please note: this release will only be as a download (MP3/FLAC/WAV) and will be sold through UK download stores and our friends www.addictech.com in the US

please try and keep all communication regarding submitting demos/finished tracks etc via e mail - henryoid@virusb-23.co.uk

your track must NOT be available to freely download ANYWHERE online before submitting it to this compilation

obviously we won't be able to release everyone's tracks and only the best will make it, so make some belters!

details of agreements and conditions will be issued to those who are selected for the album only

there is no deadline for this but don't sleep on it as the right material may be submitted wquicker than expected ... i will announce when we have decided on the tracklist
