What do you prefer hearing in Room 2?

Post by nikki » Wed Jun 10, 2009 9:46 pm

We're organising an event with a wicked Dubstep line-up in the main room..
..but what do you prefer hearing in the second room? (Both rooms are similar in size so it's not a shoebox 2nd jobby)

Other events have bubbling UKG, others have another Dubstep room whereas some have funky or DnB

What do you prefer hearing?

Night's about vibing, having a good time and making the most of our short weekends !

(event's 9-6am in case that changes anything lol)

Would really appreciate if if you could share your thoughts!! :) x

Proper, full on dub or some old school jungle. Bit of UKG & Bassline would be a good party vibe as well. :D

Bashout in Bristol do a good second room with Ironside & the P.R.A.N.K. guys.

Yeah, I'd second that. Oldskool jungle is a must for me defo and some dirty reggae too. Get out those amens, think and rasta samples!! 8) Oh and a 2nd room of 2step dnb without any jungle would bore the shit out of me personally.

personally I reckon as long as the tempo is different to the main room it doesn't really matter...slower or faster...

True but can't get much slower than dubstep unless you have a chillout room. Shit that reminds me what happened to the beatless chill out room? Think it'd be good for the chill out room to make a comeback!!

You should take the shit DJs and put them in the second room. Doesn't matter what genre.
