Many people in America are one issue voters. They believe in one thing really strongly and dont give a shit about anything else. There are people who will vote pro life or pro choice without taking anything else into account for instance.
I sometimes think the makers of the movie Idiocracy got into a time machine, went into the future, and came back to send a serious message, but we just said fuck it, made it into a movie, took our kids to Buttfuckers day care, then went to work.
Id like to see them give Obama an IQ test, then have an office pool on how many republicants score higher than he does on the test. I bet less than 10 of them are smarter than him, in the entire nation.
This was the first presidential election in my lifetime where people ran into the streets and partied for 3 days straight. I knew exactly when CNN called it, and I didnt even have a TV on. Shit was popping off right outside my door in the middle of the street, in November, in Wisconsin. It was 9 degrees outside.
